The Texas Bluebonnet Wine Trail is the ultimate exploration of Southeast Texas' wine region! Visitors will find local wineries spread out within a day trip distance North of Houston. Nestled amongst rolling hills and wildflowers in the Texas countryside, our member wineries offer spectacular views and award-winning wines.
How It Works: Wine Trail Passport Events
The 2025 Wine Trail Passport Events are hosted March through April and October through November – allowing you two months in the spring and fall to visit all participating wineries. This self-guided format gives you the flexibility to explore at your own pace, visiting each winery during their individual operating hours.
Ticket holders have two months during the wine trail passport event to visit each member winery. Spring Wine Trail Passport is held March–April. Fall Wine Trail is held October–November. Wine tastings at each winery consists of three 1.5oz pours of select or featured wines.

Perfect Timing for Two Seasons
Spring (March-April): Spring is a wonderful time to enjoy the beauty of native Texas wildflowers while sipping award-winning wines. Experience the trail when the famous Texas bluebonnets are in bloom, creating a stunning backdrop for your wine country adventure.
Fall (October-November): We invite you to taste with us from October 1–31 through November 1–30, 2025 in the picturesque Texas countryside while exploring your local wineries and discovering award-winning wine. Enjoy cooler weather and harvest season atmosphere.

The Trail Experience
The relaxed pace gives you the opportunity to take a break, learn more about Texas wine, visit with the winemakers and winery owners, and most importantly, have some fun! Each winery offers its own unique character, from intimate tasting rooms to sprawling estate vineyards, ensuring every stop provides a different perspective on Texas winemaking.
Location & Accessibility
All of the member wineries are located about one hour northwest of the greater Houston area, making this trail perfect for day trips or weekend getaways. Located between I-45 and U.S. Highway 290, the Texas Bluebonnet Wine Trail offers visitors spectacular views and award-winning wines in Southeast Texas.
